NPD Reports on Men’s Skincare

Sales of men’s skincare products are up 13%, more than twice that of the total skincare market and total women’s skincare market in 2004 according to The NPD Group, a sales and marketing information company. Total sales for the year were $59 million vs. $52 million in 2003. Annual 2004 marked the second consecutive year that men’s skincare growth outpaced women’s.

According to NPD, the top five men’s prestige skincare brands in 2004 based on dollars sold were: Skin Supplies, Lab Series, Zirh, Clarins Men and Anthony Logistics. More information: (516) 625-6190.
